These tables are provided for informational purposes only.  There are many factors that affect your Blood Alcohol Content.  Of course,  the only optimal way to carry a weapon or to drive is 0% Blood Alcohol.  However, you may find it useful to keep these in your wallet.  Louisiana proscribes a maximum .05% BAC for your permit to be valid.  The idea is to: Take the Standard Drinks Chart at the bottom Convert that to the drink of your choice to a "standard drink" Find that amount of drinks in the left-hand column on the table for your gender Cross reference that on the table according to your body weight That will give you a standard approximation of your BAC.
